Stages Connect
Dr. Kari Stubbs is Senior Vice President of Business Development at Stages Learning and a passionate advocate for the belief that all means all in education. A former classroom teacher with a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction, Kari has spent more than 15 years building partnerships that drive impact and growth. She is especially proud of creating the ARIS Thrive Grant, which has provided more than $150,000 in curriculum materials, training, and support to educators nationwide.
Currently working on
Helping educators build confidence, consistency, and student outcomes through ARIS while creating new opportunities for students to thrive.
Classroom philosophy
Learning should be active, engaging, and developmentally appropriate. Physical materials create meaningful learning experiences, while technology supports instructional planning, analytics, progress monitoring, and communication of student success.
Favorite ARIS things
My favorite thing about ARIS is that it makes learning tangible, meaningful, and fun. I have a soft spot for the little shoes used to teach matching and categorization, and the parrot has become a bit of a mascot! Most of all, I love seeing students gain confidence one small success at a time.
