The author is a recent graduate of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Currently, she is a Teaching Fellow and is involved in Diversity and Cultural Awareness research at Harvard. She also serves as the Program Manager for Our Golden Hour, an educational non-profit working to expand educational opportunities to children in underserved areas and marginalised communities.
