STAGES Mission: Serving the Unique Needs of Every Early Learner
At Stages Learning, we are dedicated to creating educational solutions that meet children where they are, whether they’re in a special education setting, general preschool, or at home. Our mission is to provide the resources and tools that support children in building foundational skills for lifelong success. We believe that by identifying and addressing learning gaps early, every child can achieve their fullest potential.
Who We Are
Rooted in our commitment to early childhood education, Stages Learning designs, delivers, and supports high-quality materials for diverse learning needs. Our Academic Readiness Intervention System (ARIS) offers an inclusive framework that addresses gaps in learning readiness across language, social, behavioral, motor, and academic skills. We serve all early learners, providing the structure and support needed for both educators and families to guide children’s progress.
Then
Founded in 1997 by Angela Nelson, Stages Learning began as a way to bring autism teaching tools to families and educators supporting children on the spectrum.
Now
Today, Stages Learning delivers a complete curriculum for classrooms and homes, empowering teachers and families to meet children’s diverse learning needs.
Tomorrow
Expanding our reach with creative, innovative tools, we’re finding new ways to support each learner’s unique path to success.
Stages Core Values
Serve the Mission, Not Ourselves
Everything we create is designed to support children’s learning, emphasizing substance over status. Our focus is on meaningful impact, not prestige, and our products and services are created with the end goal of enhancing educational opportunities for all children.
Removing Obstacles that Limit Learning
We’re dedicated to removing the barriers that limit learning. ARIS provides the structured support needed to address and reduce the need for special education services by fostering early learning and readiness skills in all children, including those in general preschool classrooms.
High Quality, User Centered Design
Our resources are meticulously crafted to support educators in implementing effective, data-driven instruction that aligns with standards, reducing teacher stress and ensuring consistency in classrooms.
Work Hard & Smart
We’re a team that’s driven to make a difference. We continuously pursue excellence and seek to improve our processes, ensuring we deliver impactful solutions that are as practical as they are innovative.
Intrinsic Motivation & Curiosity
At Stages, we believe that curiosity drives better solutions. We are constantly learning and innovating, motivated by the needs of the educators, families, and students we serve.
Changing the Narrative in Special Education
Our approach redefines what early learning can accomplish, demonstrating that quality, inclusive early intervention benefits all children, not only those with special needs.
Support for All Early Educators
We understand the crucial role of early education in a child’s development. ARIS is designed to serve both special education needs and general preschool classrooms, offering flexibility and support to empower all educators. By bridging gaps in readiness skills, ARIS ensures that every child, regardless of their starting point, has the opportunity to build a strong foundation for success.
Proud to be a Woman Owned Business
As a proud woman-owned business, Stages Learning believes diversity in leadership brings strength, empathy, and innovation to our mission. Our commitment to empowering early learners, families, and educators is shaped by a woman-led team that values inclusive, high-quality resources for diverse learning needs.
